Re: Warhammer Armies Beastmen
Buy your Gors and Ungors now, if you plan on playing them. In typical GW fashion, they'll be packaged with less models in a more expensive box.

Re: Warhammer Armies Beastmen
it is nice to see that they went back to the old beastmen by making ungors there own unit again. The minotaurs i think look shitty, but than again it could be the paint job. from what i see it reminds of the of what it looked like early 4th. with the ungor archers

Re: Warhammer Armies Beastmen
It is the paint job from what I am noticing. The highlights and the shading on the GW site are too stark for my liking. I got a black box to paint up for tates. The minos are pretty solid once they are put together. They also have the extra throat skin that you see on some cattle. eww...

What are THOSE things?
They look kinda cartoonish in some respects, particularly them bug-eyes...

Re: Warhammer Armies Beastmen
I actually love that pic, but then again I play Orcs and wacky shit appeals to me. Sadly, from what I've read on Warseer, it's only a bunch of conversions....

Re: Warhammer Armies Beastmen
How could those be conversions.. that looks like a shot from the army book.
I love how GW puts shit in their army books but then has no model for it. Well, I guess that's not just GW that does that but still that's pretty annoying.
Like the Hell Pit abomination. I'm gonna spend hours converting some piece of clay or something into a hell pit abomination, and then 8 months from now GW will release a 50 dollar plastic kit, which I won't end up buying just on principal. What a great Marketing strategy.

yeah, lets do something this weekend! I guess no one's going to Joel's on Sunday due to the Superbowl though. I wouldn't mind getting together somewhere to play that board game or warhammer. Give me a call!
