I hear the Dark Eldar did really good again. Who won?

Yeah, i kept hearing omg all these dark lances ahhhh. Man i really wanted to play that army but didn't get to =(. Loved the paint job on em.

Mark Parker brought the Dark Eldar, all rayder army with 25-28 dark lances. His last match he had a good draw and played a Nid army with next to no shooting. He took it apart in a couple of rounds.

So did the Dark Eldar when again?! I will laugh so hard if this is true.

Most players have bashed and been dismissive about the DE forever. I had Dark Eldar in 2000 (first army) until I sold them in I believe 2008, may be 2009. I still like the army and game for the matter, but not the company.

The Dark Elder even so outdated, are very competent army. They just have lot of useless thing sin the army and.... kinda ugly now.

Its not that DEldar aren't competitive- its that the army model range and book options are lacking.

They have 1 competitive list... that's it. Very good, but zero options. Both eldar armies are similar in that respect.

Also, I loved how Parker was asking about whether the swarmlord gets a cover save because of the height of his vehicle... mounted on 4" tall bases.

So uuhh... nobody knows who won?

Yea, actually if someone calls him out for his bases on his vehicles, he could be disqualified. They are so hi as to deny cover saves of his opponents. That wasn't what won him the game though. He just blasted eeverything away.

Yeah you looked like you were about to pass out. It can get pretty hectic, next time we should have a water cooler. It's the grand daddy of all tournaments. Look at what a crazy game we had, tough to drum up a game like that with less points.
