Warhammer Fantasy Tournament May 23rd!!

So,

Since Joel isn't doing MOKM anymore, I told him we were still going to do a Fantasy event, as many of the folks had already worked on getting the time off.

As such, here are some details pending, as well as a start to the signup list:

2250 Standard Tournament Game. All Current Codexes are Legal, in addition to DoW, Kislev, and Chaos Dwarves.

When: Sunday, May 23rd

Start Time is 12 noon Sharp!

3 Rounds, 2 Hours each round. (schedule to follow)

Generalship, Painting, and Sportmanship will all be included.

Cost: $5 or $10, need to speak with Joel.

We using any Special Scenarios or just straight up fights ?
I'll be nice to have a list of "effects" that we can roll on per table.

1- RAIN-Heavy rains have made the battle field a giant mud trap: Charges have chance to fail on a
roll of 1, the charging unit gets stalled in the mud.
2- SNOW-A powerfull Blizard has blanked the battlefield in a thick coat of snow. No marching scept
for Light cavalry and skirmishers. Units that count as large targets are not affected, they just
plow through the snow.
3- FOG- A massive fog bank has moved in, visibility is greatly reduced. All shooting counts
as long range, Stone throwers scatter an extra D6, cannons reduce D6 from their guessed
range. Thrown weapons are not affected, to close to the target.
4- CLEAR SKIES: Beautyful weather to kill each other.
5- TEMPEST- A powerfull windstorm is blowing through the battlefield. All shooting attacks,
cept magic missiles, have a chance to fail due to the wind blowing out the fire to light guns
blowing arrows out of their path, etc. Any unit attempting to fire will fail to do so on a roll of 1.
Breath weapons use the template backwards.
6- MOTHER OF ALL STORMS- You couldnt have picked a worth condition to fight a battle. Roll twice
on the effects table, both results apply, pray you roll a 4, as you caught the end of the Perfect
Storm.

We will have something similar to this for one of the rounds.

I plan on having some "additions" to the game, though most of the missions will be straight forward pitched battles, little things like weather, etc. will come into play to make things a little bit more interesting.
