Plastic armies? Empty Plastic armies?

So anyone play with or play against any all or mostly plastic armies in FOW? I got a full German army built of all battlefront figs but was thinking of just for the hell of it making a couple armies out of pure plastic figs like Axis and Allies figs. The newer sets are pure 15mm and some of the figs are nice, but wondering if anyone does it? The one problematic aspect I think is the infantry I guess as you don't have much for good proxies in that it seems.

Though consider just using the plastics for easy quick army making and then just using battlefront for a few infantry platoons that would need to be actually painted up. (booooooo)

Ive seen people use plastic tanks from Axis&Allies and they fit nice

All my tanks are AAM. If you do a google search theres someone who made an entire FoW list using AAM.
