do the empire gunners come in one peice or are the arms and head not atached? For that matter how do the empire models come free company, I am looking to try to change out heads and arms with other models is this posible?

The arms are not attached. You can build them out as handgunners or crossbowmen.

Infantry can be built as Swordmen, Spearmen, etc.

what about the head? I am looking to use zombie and skele parts to build my Empire army going to use a mix of vampire and empire parts to build it.

So can I use a a zombie arm hoding the gun?

It is going to take a while but between Skaven and this project it will keep me busy

The bit is usually both arms on the rifle, either pointed forward or held at the ready. Pretty sure that is the same for the xbows.
