Total= 2243 help me bring this down to 2K. I can switch Soul Grinders for princes. Though how would I kit them out to be able to handle our mech heavy meta?

Try that out. The Fateweaver should be your only HQ at these points. 333 is a large chunk of change to spend on one model. Skulltaker doesn't do anything for your army that warrants the points spent on him. DP's are easy to kit out in a fate list. Dp+ Iron Hide+ MoT+Bolt= 170.
Deamons, like orks, have serious issues taking out mech. The have quasi melta at bs 3 mostly. So if you face a heavy mech force, you're in for an uphill battle right from the start.

Yep, second list is nice. Just that when I did use skulltaker, he was such a beast against deathstars.

If you kit your soulgrinders out with both of the mawcanon upgrades a single weapon destroyed result kills ALL upgrades of the mawcanon, you're then out a fair amonut of points. I run one or the other.
Skulltaker on a 'crusher is an IC so give him a meat(warp)shield of 'letters. Making him a deathstar unit as well.
