My understanding is that you pay $2.00 (I spent more on McCrap while at Sunshine) League fee, you play a game or more and regardless of winning drawing or lossing get points based on those results. Once you reach a certain level of points you can redeem them for store credit. You get NO DISCOUNT for store credit.

Basically you get all of you money back, its Joel's manner of stimulating revenue.

Warlord, Joel should have Urk command blister in stock. He also has ONE box of Urk scouts.

I believe the bersker blister should be in by today. Please call to confirm all of the above driving out to Sunshine.

I got some Haradim Cavalry, a troll,2 blisters of Watchers and Khamul(Wring Wraith).

Blades is on the way, so is mouth of Saron. Both were special orders.

How long do Joel's orders from GW usually take? I've just read this whole thread, I had no idea so much was going on.

BigEddy, all the more reason I am glad you join.

If you make an order on Monday, Joel will get it by Friday the same week, unless, GW screws up the order (happens often) or if it is a special order.

If it is a specail order, it will be delayed until the prices go up, also there is no telling when it will arrive. This no fault of Joel's, but GW.

So be happy, GW not only fucks with its customers, but with its sales/dealers.

Yeah Eddy you might want to call down to Joel to check. I stopped by to grab my paints and he told me that some of the stuff was special order or something like that.

Well if I'm not mistaken the prices went up... yesterday? So by what you're saying my stuff should be in by Friday. That's totally acceptable. Even if it ends up being next Friday, I'm cool with it.

BigEddy, in your case Joel had to put your order in Monday for prize support. If you request did not consist of any special order you may get it by Friday (minus GW screw ups). If you did have have special items, you still get part of you order less the special items.

well they were all boxes, so it shouldn't have been special order, i'll ask Joel when I get to the shop today for my weekly LoTR

You will get the galadhrim elves either the 19th or the 26 of this month...probably the 19th...considering the release date for them on the GW site is June 20. The wood elves probably friday.

Good, I'd like to get started on painting as soon as possible. perhaps you, your wife, saj, and I can have a painting session, get your haradrim done and my elves. Plus I'd like to see at least one painted dwarf in Saj's army, lol.

And what a beautiful Sauron it is, It sodomized all his dwarves. Funny how he dropped ALL that cash on an "elite" dwarven army, and then the simple purchase of Sauron turned the dwarves to mush.

Regardless, Saj needs to get into the painting part of the hobby, that dwarven army is too massive to not be painted.

Sauran did brutally destroy my dwarves, but in their defense i took a very bad force against him. The man can cast 5 spells in a turn and use 2 epic actions a turn for free. If i wouldve taken Gandalf or some other caster even a couple of balista im sure i wouldve been ok. Also theres the fact that i WANTED to see him destroy stuff, and i did, and now im happy :OD

Yeah, a balista or two would have helped that pretty quick.

Not really. 9 Defense isnt exactly easy to punch through, and then theres the spells and the very hard to kill table...

To get more on topic, Joel is getting the scared again about inventory.

So I have to talk off the ledge and see if he will re-stock a little bit.

Hell I am thinking about buying all the LotR inventory myself and renting shelf space from Joel, so I can do it properly.

The guy has junk up the yazoo that nobody wants unless he willing to have a sale (I am talking about all the old outdated figurines in the crushed boxes).

On the one hand I can understand him controlling inventory which I am in total agreement, but he has no pure method. If wants to sell LotR he needs to have stock.

Im proud to say that i painted 2500 points of Tomb Kings in 2 weeks ! .. alcohol helped a lot to get me through those long skeleton painting sessions .....

Everytime i look at my Russians and their 500 models my leg starts twitching ..
