Dipping???

Yeah - I used Minwax. I painted the whole figure hulk green, added silver to the armor and weapons, added brown to the pouches and weapon shaft - then into the minwax with him. 1 second - in and out. Then shake him off and set it on ALUMINUM FOIL to dry (won't stick). Come back in 15 to dry excess with a Q tip (or use a rag).

To soak up the excess, use a Q-tip or 2

Main issue I see is your stuck with a brown color scheme - If you could find some funky blue or purple wood stain you would have some options.

Nope, I don't water down my stain.

I just dipped my entire FOW army (all 1k points of it) and they turned out pretty good! I've got the tournament this weekend but after that I'll take some photos and let you guys see what they look like.

All I had to do (aside from the dipping) was take off some of the excess stain right after I set them down. Other then that they were fine!
