Salamanders are getting a special character who gives special rules to various weapons.

What this does is to make all thunder hammers master crafted, and all melta and flamer weapons count as twin linked (rerolling to hit with hammers/meltas and to wound with flamers).

Legion Of The Damned are confirmed, I've read it in the codex. 3+ invul confirmed.

Also, now most of the characters have 3+ invul, and a storm shield confers and 3+ invul against ALL attacks for the wearer.

Further note, lysander also has the ability to increase the cover save of an area by +1. Scouts have camo cloaks which also give a +1 to their cover save.

The scout special character can confer his BS to another scout, why you would do this i dont know, as he has a rending boltgun which YOU get to allocate the wounds!

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it pans out on the table top. If all of a sudden, Marines are OWNING all the time.., then we'll know that GW has done it again.

I wonder if people will begin to refuse playing marine armies out of hand because of thier imbalanced abilities. The only way I can see these things being offset is a tremendous points cost for each model.
