Zombie Survival

Hello everyone. This is a very important topic. I have started it so that we may be ready in case of a zombie apocalypse. Here we will post tips,guides, and advice so that we may be prepared. I'll start it off by giving a few tips.

1.Always aim for a zombie's head, it's the only way to kill them.

2.Be prepared to kill someone who is close to you that has been bitten by the zombies.

3.Be sure to inspect everyone's bodies everyday to see if they have any bites and/or scratches from the zombies

4.Be sure to carry around a melee weapon such as a machete or hatchet in case you run out of ammo for your firearm.

5.Never go out by yourself, always travel in a pair so you can shoot the other person if he/she becomes infected.

6. Plan ahead and have at least a month's supply of food stored.

7.Remember that there are other groups of survivors and be prepared to kill them if they become hostile when you refuse to give them food or shelter

8. In the first few hours of the zombie apocalypse acquire any containers and fill them up with water from your faucet(you never know when the water might stop flowing).

-Always wear tight clothes and keep your hair short. This way zombies don't have much to grab on to and pull you into their horde.
-Blades don't need reloading.
-Have a dirt bike or bicycle in your home at all time in case you are in need of a quick of a get away.
-If you house is surrounded by zombies head to the roof and destroy all methods of reaching the top. In all my years of zombie hunting i have never witnessed a zombie jump.

- make sure you always have someone with you ( hopefully some person you just met ) so you have someone to push in front of you in case the zombies get close.

Get a flame thrower and a shovel. Shovels can cause a lot of head trauma and their light and easy to wield. I dont need to explain a flame thrower. Then find a place with a lot of canned food and bottled water. Then just wait it out until the zombies rot so bad they fall apart. Save you family and friends of course. For those of you who are single or cheat on your wives find a couple of hot bitches and rescue them. They'll feel they owe you and for the months that you wait you will be able to worship Slaanesh with them...

I particularly like the latter part of your advice.

Here's mine.

1. Find a high rise. Zombies don't know how to use elevators. Preferably next to an intercoastal, this way, if things get hairy, you can live on your house boat for a while... Zombies can't swim.

2. Find a Monster Truck... nothing is going to get you from point a to point b like a monster truck.. plus running over zombies is fun.

3. Raid the local firearms store.. If it hasn't been already cleared out, grab all the guns and ammo you can get.. especially explosives like grenades, which always come in handy in a pinch.

4. Keep a katana or similarly razor edged weapon nearby. Chainsaws and shovels are for movies, in reality you need something that will cleave through the neck cleanly and quickly.. so you won't get bogged down.

5. Keep a cyanide pill on you all times.. This way if you know the end is coming, at least you can give yourself a quick and painless death. It's a lot easier than stabbing yourself or getting eaten alive.

I have to disagree with you here,remember that the only way to truly kill zombies is to destroy their brain. A flamethrower,while good against humans will prove pretty ineffective at killing zombies as it'll take a while for their brains to burn.

also, what types of zombies are we talking about, the regular slow moving ones, or the Ninja ones from Dawn of the Dead ?

1. First get firearms.

2. Then get hot bitches like bill said to worship slanneesh.

3. Get all the information on the movie Cast Away.

4. Find a boat with lots and lots of fuel, or maybe a sail.

5. Find the Island Chuck got stranded on with Wilson and live there with the hot bitches for the rest of your days.

That's what the crew did on Mutiny on the Bounty..

They ditched the captain, took their tahitian bitches and settled on Pitcairn island...

@Necron Nodal Command: Don't forget that although zombies can't swim, they can float so if some of them somehow fall into the sea there's a small chance that they might wash up on your island and bite you and your bitches.

@ JC - cite your sources man, some other people may want to read that book too who may not have heard about it. and try World War Z i'm reading it now.

What you need is a Good base of operations with all that you all mentioned....but the fastest way to kill them en masse is dig a nice 10 wide and 15 foot deep fill it up about 2 feet with some flammable....stand on the other side of the hole and let them run toward you....they fall in the hole....Then you burn em.....and Solskritt....fire kills everything....one way or the other.eventually it will cook their brain.


Only us nerds worry about people coming back from the dead.

As a cuban i worry about people coming back from the dead all the time !!

In the event of a zombie outbreak, i'd be more worried about other people rather than zombies. People can go crazy, especially when the dead just start shambling around.

Only about a day and a half of non-stop driving to reach Cheyenne Mountain!

But they'd never let us in, they'd probably shoot us. Of course, we could all go and perhaps try to take it by force if they don't let us in. We would a lot of survivors, explosives, guns and ammo.

I already got my Zombie situation planned, out where the nearest gun store is and the nearest food source for us Humies, thank god for everything been no more then a 10min drive, the only situation i have is my house is worthless for a zombie attack, glass doors all along the back side looking into the pool and windows in the front big enough to walk through, I honestly think Joel's place would be so bad as you can lock the bars from the inside, break down the windows and just play shoot the zombie in the head as they shamble up and try to squeeze through the bars....FYI if anything like 28 days later happend...we would all be fucked...or even like that re-made piece of crap Dawn of the Dead, which Romero cursed hence why it did crappy...Shambling Zombies in hordes...no big deal M-16 4TW...SPRINTING MICHAEL JOHNSON ZOMBIES= WE FUXED!

Dude the best bet is to get out of highly populated area's. Less people less zombies. If you stay im Miami youve got 4 million cuban zombies running around. Go to the mountain and live you days out there, no population no zombies.
