Air Support Question

Quick question:

Is it even necessary to buy physical models for air support? They're in and out so quick that do I even need the models?

Is this a matter of personal preference or opponent being a douche...

You need the actual model cause it matters how they are positioned when they come in and it matters for range for AA guns to shoot at them.

Technically you only need a dice or token to represent the planes, but they look like shit.

Alfred instead of buy the ultra expensive BF models look on ebay for better deals from those Japanese companies. I bought a Trio of awesome looking sturmovicks, same scale, for 15 bucks ! I saved myself 30 bucks ! And they look great !

Alfred, I have used these models. They are pretty sweet. You have to build and paint them, but they look great when they are done.

Not to expensive either, but you do end up with 4 planes which kinda sux unless you find someone that wants to split a box with you. 2 planes to a box.

To answer your original question, yes you need the actual planes there.
