Light of the Valaar
If this spell is succesfully cast at a formation of Orcs who are joined by a Ringwraith, does the additional Spirit damage portion of the spell take effect and if so, who takes the damage - the formation of the ringwraith?

Epic Tranquility
If both sides want to declare Heroic Actions in the charge phase, what goes first - Epic Tranquility or the roll off for charge phase Heroic Action priority?

Artillery and Magic hits
Book indicates the target unit "suffers" x hits throughout. This implys that the hits have already occured. Do Magic and Artillery suffered hits need to be rolled on the To Hit table?

King's Champion
The Dwarven King's Champion has no Wear Gear section in the profile. What is the War Gear for this Monster?

Terror vs Terror
If a terror unit charges another terror unit, do both need to terror test?

Possible Typos
Blackroot Vale Archers
Profile indicates Heavy Armor, but an Defense score of 4. This is inconsistant with other Heavy Armor units which have a Defense of 5. Is the Blackroot Vale Archers defense of 4 correct.

Rohan Outriders
Profile indicates a shooting skill of 2+. This is better than any other unit. Is the Rohan Outriders 2+ shooting skill value correct?

Galadhrim Knights
Profile indicates a company attck value of 4. This is better than any other unit. Is the Galadhrim Knights 4 attack skill value correct?



Add others below and I'll update this thread. I'll submit our list to GW on Friday the 15th and hopefully we will get a response before the tounney at the end of May.

In the Gondor and Arnor unit list it says the blackroot vale archers have heavy armor but it shows their armor value as 4. everywhere else where units have heavy armor its usually 5... which is it ?

Ok, on the game i had vs Mike this issue came up, there were 4 of us in the discussion, includign jerry, and we went based on what it says in the book "EPIC ACTIONS ARE TREATED LIKE HEROIC ACTIONS"
We interpreted this as that they follow the rules for Heroic actions in that you have to roll priority to see who gets to use his action first.
NOW, one thing we did wrong is that my Troll Captain shouldnt have been able to charge that formation after Lurtz charged. Lurtz won the roll for priority and was able to call his Heroic Charge before Epic Tranquility went off, BUT Epic tranquility went off after the charge and that meant that nobody else couldve charged the Formation with Ragabastard in it.

Terror vs Terror

Rohan is a country of Horse archers, i would say this is correct.

The BVR Archers are have an ambush rule and you certainly wouldn't go sneaking on up in heavy armor. The 4 may be correct and the Heavy Armor may be wrong. Who can say?

I think that instead of assuming there is a typo we should play with the book profiles as written.

We can assume hand weapons for the King's Champion, should someone play him.

We have current working house rules for the artillery/magic hits (we roll them) and terror vs. terror (both test).

Jerry needs to define house rules for Epic Tranquility and LotV Spirit damage.

I'm really surprised that this ET is really an issue. It seems pretty clear to me that as long as ET is called anytime at the beginning of the charge phase before any models are actually moved, he cannot be charged. If an epic or heoric charge was called that hero would lose the might point as described on page 66 the bottom left column, last paragraph and top of second column.

At 50 per company, they deserve the extra 2 dice. I'm not so sure this is an error.

unstopable charge on a 4+ Rolling Eyes
In the long run the attacks are about = and IIRC the KoDA have better stats to make up for the terror and pathfinding

Elf have better move (+2), fight(+1), shooting(-1), and courage(+1). They get longbows and glaives. They can trade bows for shields to get 4(5)

KoDA have better Strength (+1), and much better D (+2), plus the lance bonus on the charge

2 very nice unit options

funny enough, KoDA would probably fare better in most battles with the extra strength and defense. what I look forward to is putting Legolas in my cavalry, which will have them swing at the same time as monsters (before cavalry)
