Bringing back the High Elves

Yes, thats right. I've made a decision to bring back my High Elves. I like the Bretonnians alot but the High Elves have always been my first love. I'm just gonna deal with the codex and move on (it's not bad, just some changes I don't like in it).

So yes, the High Elves are returning, or at least mine are, when I get them back from Atlanta.

I don't have my Fantasy with me unfortunately, otherwise I'd be there. I wouldn't be able to make it before 5:30 though

I'll pack them in the car for next week though. It'll be Brets for awhile until my High Elves return from Atlanta.

Dude the HE codex is really nice! I was really tempted to play them, and even got Sam to lend me his miniatures for a few test games.

Yeah - army wide ASF and the best dragon in the game is a good starting point for any list.

I tried playing high elves once, but i felt so dirty after playing them that i traded them for another army.

High Elf players like to bitch and moan about how they're always outnumbered.

It's like..... ok.... " YOU ALWAYS STRIKE FIRST"

When I attack your bowmen with my fast cav or flying units, first you get to stand and shoot, then you get to hit me first !

When I charge into your swordmasters with Anything, I get 11 WS 6 strength 5 attacks to the face... POW.

Stop complaining high elf players out there.

I don't complain about it, I actually don't really like the ASF on them. I mean sure, it's nasty, but it also doesn't make that much sense to me.

I personally think Swordmasters a little overrated, cause they are paper-thin. T3 with a 5+ save. Sure, if they get into CC they'll kick-ass, but a couple of fast cav units or a unit of bowmen blasting them for a turn or two and suddenly they don't have that many models running around.

But no, High Elves are almost always outnumbered, thats why their ELVES.

OK... so when you and I play Dan, we'll take away the ASF.. we'll see if you like it better.

Ok, and then we'll drop all of my point costs by 3 or 4 points/model to represent me losing ASF, right?

Hey... you're the one who said you don't like ASF... Why do I get penalized for you dropping it ?

Cause I'm one of the few codexes that actually most of their units INCREASE in price, rather then decrease as some armies have done.

But hey, we'll play with ASF, and it'll be grand
