APRIL 9TH DREADNOUGHT TOURNAMENT

HEY GUYS, AS YOU MAY HAVE READ ON THE TOPIC, THIS IS FOR THE DREADNOUGHT TOURNAMENT. THE TOURNAMENT PRIZE MONEY IS BASED ON ATTENDANCE AND ITS $10 TO GET IN. ONLY TOP 3 PLAYERS WILL RECIEVE MONEY.

==>> THE TOURNAMENT IS AT SUNSHINE AND IT WILL START AT 1:30 PM.

THE RULES ARE VERY SIMPLE AND IT ONLY TAKES ABOUT 4-5 HOURS TO RUN THE HOLE THING. EACH PLAYER WILL SELECT ANY OF THE FOLLOWING DEPENDING ON RACE, NO POINTS LIMIT

• Space Marines (one Dreadnought or Venerable Dreadnought, no Special Character)
• Chaos Space Marines (One Dreadnought or Defiler)
• Imperial Guard (one unit of Sentinels up to three)
• Eldar (Wraithlord or 3 War Walkers)
• Orks (Ork Dreadnought or one unit of Killa Kans)
• Dark Eldar (Talos)
• Tyranids (Carnifex)
• Necrons (one unit of either Destroyers or Heavy Destroyers)
• Tau (one unit of either XV8 ‘crisis’ or XV88 Broadsides, no HQ selections)
• Chaos Daemons (soul crusher, or something like that. im not sure of its name. THE HEAVY SUPPORT)
• Grey Knights (one Dreadnought or Nemesis Dreadknight)

THE GAMES HAS 3 ROUNDS, EACH ROUND WILL BE ONE HOUR LONG AND THE REFEREE (JOEL) WILL SELECT WHO GOES FIRST AT RANDOM, ONCE THAT PLAYER IS SELECTED THEN HE WILL

1- MOVE
2- SHOOT/RUN
3- ASSAULT

THIS PROCESS WILL BE FOLLOWED BY THE NEXT PLAYER AND SO ON. THE WINNER IS DETERMINED BY WHO KILLED THE MOST DREADNOUGHTS/UNITS AND NOT WHO SURVIVED THE LONGEST. (SO NO HIDING IN THE BUILDINGS YOU BUNCH OF SISSIES)

ALSO I WILL CHANGE TERRAIN EACH ROUND TO MAKE THINGS DIFFERENT EACH ROUND.

Yeah, question, why would anyone pick a Necron destroyer unit? Their weapons are locked at Str6 which makes them kind of ass in an all-vehicle setting.

how many wraithlords can i bring? just one i'm assuming?

the thing is that destroyers have a rule in which on a 6 the cause a glancing hit, a unit of 5 destoyers can do alot of damage, thrust me i know, last tournament one of those units anailated my armour 13 vindicator.

also one wraithlord only, daemons i believe are welcome also, ill update for u in a couple of hours. i just have to double check what units they can bring.

ALSO VYCEM, REMEMBER THAT YOU MIGHT GO LAST AND THEREFORE GET PLENTY OF OPPORTUNITIES TO SHOOT AT PEOPLE'S BACK ARMOUR. PLUS NOT EVERYTHING HAS ARMOUR VALUE, ELDAR, TYRANIDS, TAU, AND DAEMONS I BELIEVE DONT HAVE ARMOUR, THEY HAVE TOUGHNESS SO IT MIGHT BE EASIER THAN U THINK.

EXAMPLE: AN ORK DREAD STARTS ITS TURN NEXT TO YOU, TO HIS RIGHT HE HAS A DEFILER FROM A CHAOS MARINE PLAYER. HE DECIDES THAT U ARE LESS OF A THREAT SO HE GOES FOR THE DEFILER DOES EXPOSING HIS BACK IN AN ATTEMP TO REACH THE DEFILER IN CLOSE COMBAT BUT HE IS SHORT. NOW EVERYNODY THAT IS IN HIS BACK VIEW CAN SHOOT AT HIS BACK ARMOUR INCLUDING YOUR UNIT OF 5 ST-6 DESTOYERS. SOUNDS TO ME LIKE A DEAD ORK DREADNOUGHT AND ONE KILL FOR URE UNIT OF DESTROYERS.

Cool, if u want i can lend u one of mine, ill take it that day and u can use it. i have a ork dread and a blood angels furioso librarian, its ure pick... ill use the other one if there isnt enough players and just remove myself from the standings at the end. ITS GOING TO BE REALLY FUN!!!!!!

So??? We only require one table for our arena tournament, the rest of them can be taken up by the FOW guys.
