April 27th Tournament Results

This was a 1500pt Mid-war tournament with the following missions. Encounter, Hold the Line and Cauldron.
We had 7 players. I played in it as a non-scoring participant so it was even.

Here are the results.

1. Bill- Italian Bersaglieri Company
2. Will- American Parachute Company
3. Dave- British Rifle Company
4. Henry- German Afrika Panzergrenedier Company
5. Don- Russian Tankoneski (sp) Company
6. Tom- German Panzer Company- (7 Stug G's)
7. Jerry- American Armored Rifle Company

It was a tight tournament that could have been won on the last round by any of the top 4 participants.

Congrats to Bill with his ALL Italian Army!

The scoring was was the same as the rulebook with the winner getting +2 points per win and +2 points for a fully painted army.

Bill won with 22 pts, Will was second with 21.

Lol, you know whats funny ? there are actually more peopel showing up for FoWs tournaments than for 40k !

To bad i was unable to make it but i'll be there for sure on the next one and the might of the Russian peasant cannibal army shall march to war once again !

I would love to get a 10 or 12 person tournament going... but we barely had enough room for 4 regular size tables (4x6). But we are getting a strong showing. We were missing Luis, Rick, JC, and Carlos. All people who have come to past tournaments.

Your Russian Monkey Ally Don felt the fury of Italia. My little M-14 tanks excel at smashing infantry hoard armies 5-6 shots per tank with MG's. My Somovent's , air power and artillery took care of those T-34's. Oh yeah and my Basiglieri held off a tank assault and won the game...hater.

Yeah, I play FOW as well (Russian Cossacks) but unfortunately I won't be around much. If I'm in town though I'd love to play!
