Seems like a pretty significant rules update, quite a different game really.
But while some of it sounds good, I feel it's going to be a mess just because of how the way GW releases their armies. Such a big revamp of the core rules requires all armies to be updated and tested along with it. Supposedly every army is getting a FAQ to "update" them with the release of 6th, but we saw how that didn't really help these armies when they did the same with 4th ed and they had to wait for their new codex to properly bring them in line.

Which again didn't really solve the problem of army balance. The FAQ's simply try to fix up rule conflicts between versions, but they don't update the armies to be designed around the new edition play environment.
