LotR Interest Poll

Hey everyone!Just wanted to see how many people are interested in the LotR game?It's the cheapest of the main GW games to get into and its fun.Its a skrimish type game that's fast paced.

Sorry JC, not really interested. I don't know why, since I like the Middle Earth setting a lot. I guess the factions aren't very appealing. Of course, if I sit down with the rulebook I'd get interested, but that happens to me with any game system or armybook.

I think it's a broken system. Heroes have too much power.

well, LOTR is much more of a "heroehammer" than warhammer was, look at what a single hero character can accomplish in the movies ?? Freaking Legolas ( in the movie, nvr happened in the book ) took out an Olifant on his own ! and Aragon killed like 40 Uruk-kai single handed in the Fellowship of the Ring !

Im asuming the game is not based on the books at all, but based mostly on the movies.

Whatever it's based on it's not a balanced game. IMHO

Have any of you even tried the game out? There's many ways to kill Heroes and let's not forget that they only have so many might,will,and fate points.

Im gonna do my best Cuban Headstrong impression and say NO, i will NOT play that game !

Ive got some troops.

It seems to me that aside from army composition, there's not a lot of customization. You buy Boromir, and bam , you got Boromir, you can't really change him.

Bleh, no more broken GW games please.

Lets find some other broken games GW doesnt make. Then play them once or twice and then lose interest. Brilliant!!!!!!

I'm not really interested but I am watching to see if people actually start playing it - that's a good indicator as to whether it's a fun enough game or not. And I'm open to learning about it anyway.

LotR is fun!The rules are simple yet make sense and it's fast-paced.There are quite a few people who play or who are interested in playing:
