Wow Bill, I'm amazed you have so much painted already! I still remember when you got the Casket! Can you get a close up on it?

Re: Tomb Kings Rising
I'll try - I'm limited on what my camera can do with such a small subject.

Re: Tomb Kings Rising
Very good looking models as always. Do you use alot of washes on your models to help with shading effects in the recesses?

Re: Tomb Kings Rising
Yes Michael - The Chestnut Brown wash over a white basecoat makes a perfect Skeleton bone color with dark brown in the cracks.
WAY harder to build TK models then paint them.

Re: Tomb Kings Rising
Very very nice. You have a really good seperation of colors two. by that on the catabolt there is no skull white blead on the bood or vice cersa. Very very clean and i really like that. The Altar in the second pic two is really sharp in detail and is very nice.
For myself on skulls It takes me some time but I do the base black followed by skorched earth. Then a 1 to 1 mix of scorched and bleached bone, then bleacked bone, and finally touch off with bleached bone followed by a a very light flesh wash. The build of of colors gets a really nice shading effect and the wash helps with any skull cracks that might have been painted in to light.
