Black Templar project
Hey everyone, after being happy with my Tau, I decided a few months back to restart my Black Templars, this time with proper iconography and weaponry. As such, I've currently taken up to task a year project on this. I've had some progress with 5 Marines and a Terminator Chaplain earlier this year, as well as a partially complete Terminator. Ready to be painted are 2 more Initiates and the rest of the Terminators, along with a Marshal. The iconography in particular will focus on the Declates Crusade, so each Marine will have a fist painted in the same manner as the Crimson Fists.
Right now the focus is going to be on the Land Raider Crusader, partially built as I will paint the inside details as best I can.
That's all for now, I'll post up more with further progress on the LRC.

Re: Black Templar project
Are you going to play or wait until you have completed your entire army?
And if so, do you currently play any army?

Re: Black Templar project
Oh I know Mike, loved how his Black Templars worked. Shame not much could be done last time I saw him battle (last Apocalypse match a few months ago). But I have a solid idea on how I want them to run.

Re: Black Templar project
And progress, though slow, is here!

Right now the body isn't glued together yet, its holding together and helping me see how its going to look when put together, even with the inside, so I'm getting an idea of how much work I'm going to put in for the inside. I've done a little bit of work on one Terminator, but not enough to warrant a shot just yet. More than likely he'll be with his brothers when they're in progress along with the Brother-Marshal.

Re: Black Templar project
I'll most likely do some of the inside. Definitely the engine shrine for sure. And I have a small update. The Rhinos for the crusaders will be the oop versions. Found a few on ebay in Templar iconography, most likely will have them next week.

Re: Black Templar project
Thanks, sorry for not having any updates the past few weeks, however I'll have posted up soon an OOP Emperor's Champion, a converted Terminator Marshal, and 3 OOP Rhinos when I get a chance at the end of the week.

Re: Black Templar project
I've actually hit a wall at the moment in terms of painting, however I got a Vindicator built and waiting to be painted, along with the second squad. The Terminator heads just need a can of spray white to get them ready quick. Depending on how I feel tomorrow I should be able to get myself motivated back into getting them painted up.
