so how is this gonna work out ? we just walk in with our lists, do we send them before hand, are we having a system of judges that are gonna be playing and can check on rulings and stuff ?

Well.. this tourney is fairly simple...

everyone bring their lists. If you have doubts as to anything in the person's army, they can show you their points costs.

We're all friends so, I should think it should be cool..

As far as judging, Matt and I know the rules pretty well, so we'll act as judges for any of the big questions.
