McCain isnt an extreme right wing Republican, but his vice president is and I dont want anyone who says God tells them what to do to be my President or any important leader. With her as McCains running mate Im back to not knowing who to vote for. Obama wifes' thesis is under lock and key...what did she write about? Something that would offend certain groups of people and expose how she really feels. That being said Barak is married to her so what does that say about him. His Pastor whom he's known for 20 years and attended his church is a raging anti-white bigot. Yet old Obama attended for 20 years never had a problem until he was questioned. If that were a white candidate attending a white racist church he'd of never been able to run and have a chance.

At the very least Obama would be a change of direction. With Mccain/Palin is 4 more years of the same crap, and Godforbid McCain dies then we have Nazi Palin as president. I shudder to think of Palin as being the president. If anything she could be worse and more vindictive than Bush.

So while I don't really like Obama all that much, and am a bit apprehensive about voting for him, I think the alternative will be worse.

BTW I just read an article, I can't find it now, saying that a lot of Palin's so-called accomplishments are really misrepresentations of the truth. Example, that bridge to no where she says she killed, well she supported it until it became so unpopular she, dare I say it, flip-flopped. Example 2. Looks like many of the illegal things that Trooper she was trying to fire, were made up by her and her family to have him kicked out of the force. At the very least it seems the Palin family are the only witnesses to these transgressions.

I'm pretty sure had we lived back in the old days, everybody would be saying both choices were ''shitty'' as well. When you look at it, all Politicians act the same, and have acted the same, since the dawn of the U.S.

In terms of Domestic and Foreign policy, i have liked McCain's positions. The only thing that really irks me about him is his record on Energy and Global warming. Although Palin counteracts some of that, im not to fond of her ''Religious'' attitudes. and i'm sure as hell not voting for Obama and his socialist ways.

And come on, McCain may be old, but hes still got atleast another decade of life in him. it will be plenty of time to finish up his 1st (and most likely only) Term. His mother is still alive for godsake!
