Fantasy Tournament at Sunshine 2250 PTS. January 25th

Hey guys,

Joel asked me to start assembling a Fantasy Tournament at Sunshine on the 25th of January. It's a Sunday.

I would like to have a 5 dollar buy in, plus the normal 150 buck prize support that we normally get.

This tournament will be 2250 point armies and will be scored on Tournament Points and Army Composition

I will create an army composition list shortly so that people can build their lists around specific criteria.

I would like to see guys like Bill (penbroke) , Sergio, Franco, and Nate who haven't been to Joel's in a while to attend, and keep this momentum going.

I would also like to include a painting competition. 1 model or unit per person can be entered, and just for fun, why don't we say that it has to be something that no one has seen before. Well all vote on the winner based primarily on the paint job, but also taking into account conversion work and originality .


Lets have a sign up list and question and answer forum on this thread.

Why the extra 5 buck buy in?

I have a 4.7% chance of making it.

Something noone has seen the day after my nasty new Shaggoth is unveiled!

If I paint this month it will be for others and not myself, so I won't be in the paint competition. I'll try to attend to play. Confirmation pending.

Throw the army comp rules up so I can think about lists at work and enjoy the day more!

I should be there with no probs, and i will actually enter one of my SELF painted minis !!

I might be able to go, girlfriend's schedule changes on the 25th and it might mean that it's her day off. In which case it's a no-go for me.

Can we bring a painted model we're not fielding; as you want us to bring something no one has seen before, as part of the painting competition?

I dont' mind the 5bucks. Its not much and gives more options with a bigger pot (ie. a small painting competition). maybe a poll?

first we need to get an idea of whose coming before we can vote on a buy in or not. Let's assume there is no buy in.
