How are we going to score?
Are we using scenarios?

Alright, update for you all to know:

Scoring will break down as follows:

75% Generalship
15% Painting
10% Sportsmanship

Each battle will be worth 12 points, broken down as follows:

Massacare: Winner 12 points, Loser 0 points
Solid Victory: Winner 10 points, Loser 2 points
Minor Victory: Winner 8 points, Loser 4 points
Draw: Winner 6 points, Loser 6 points

There will also be a total possible 3 points available as additional battle point modifiers, which will be disclosed at the event.

This means at each battle you have a possibility to win up to 15 points at this event.


Painting

The painting score will happen once, inbetweeen the First and Second Rounds (during "Armies on Parade"). The paint score will be out of a possible 10 points, using the following criteria below:

0-3 Points: The army is painted, using at least 3 colors other then those commonly used as primer (White, Black, or Gray).
0-2 Points: Basing Techniques. Of the models painted the player has done either a (1) simple basing job with flock or (2) has done a more complex basing, including custom designs, extra effects (such as water, snow, etc.), and unique items (dead model on a monster base, for example)
1 Point: Of the models painted and used the player has done any sort of conversion work on either GW or non-GW models.
1 Point: Of the models painted the player has done an excellent job of shading and layering, as well as a clean amount of dry brushing and inking.
1 Point: Of the models painted the player has spent extensive time on details, including, but not limited too, gems, eyes, and other details.
1 Point: Of the models painted the player has spent time creating unique symbol markings, banners, or other items which require free-hand work and skill.


Sportsmanship

Sportsmanship will be Judged every round on a 2 Point scale. You will judge your opponent on your score card.
0 Points: This player has been horrible and we have had to call the TO several times to solve rules questions or to stop a fight! ((As a note, if 0 points is given and the TO has not been called over at least twice, expect to be questioned about your score))
1 Point: The game I had with this player was a normal tournament style game. Neither side gave much room for error, but the atmosphere was not hostile and most if not all rules disputes were settled either by the rule book or with a simple dice-off.
2 Points: This was one of the best games of my life! Despite being a tournament game I thought it was one of the most exciting games I had played in a long time! I would love to be matched up against this opponent again in the future!


Scenarios will be taken from the WHFB RTT Packet. Only one scenario will be chosen per battle. Each scenario will be based off of Victory Points, which the objectives adding to the total Victory Points.

Apologies for getting that out so late! I just had my first winter concert last night so it's been crazy!

Any questions / concerns about the additions? There are no specifics for army composition for this event.

PS: Nate had to drop, Mike Ronan is back in town and will be playing.

This is why I usually play it poker style and ignore these kind of questions.
