Just go play a couple of games and you'll find out. The nice part about over half of the missions in FOW is that you usually don't have your entire army on the board to start, so sometimes the first few rounds go by rather quickly.

nice point. The only hang up is when the players arent familiar with the scenario. That can make it go every slow when they are trying to read the rules for set up and victory. I suggest everyone play other scenarios besides free for all and encounter.

Thats one of the main reasons I love FOW and 40k took a leaf from their book. They have 7 completely unique senerios which are all playable and add for a fun twist both tactically and otherwise!
